New Appointment Announcement
I am delighted to announce that we have appointed Mr Karl Brown as the Principal of Blessed William Howard Catholic High School with effect from 1st September, 2018.
Two candidates were shortlisted for the post and completed a full and extremely comprehensive assessment and interview process prior to half-term. The interview panel, which included the CEO Designate and the Deputy Director of the Birmingham Diocesan Education Service, unanimously appointed Mr Brown at the end of this rigorous process.
Mr Brown is currently a Senior Leader at another Catholic High School and is a specialist in Mathematics and Science. He is thrilled to accept the office and looks forward to developing Blessed William Howard to be the school of first choice for all parents in the Stafford area. Indeed, we were most impressed with his ambitious vision for our school community that builds upon the wonderful Blessed William Howard family ethos.
We, on the interview panel, are extremely pleased to have secured the services of such a high calibre individual to lead Blessed William Howard, its staff, and especially the pupils to excellence in all they do. This will be with the full support of Mr Steve Bell, Chief Executive Officer of the newly merged Painsley Catholic Academy, as of 1st September.
The senior leadership team including Mrs Louise McKie, Acting Headteacher of BWH until the end of the summer term, were heavily involved in the interview process and, along with the rest of the interview panel, are extremely pleased with Mr Brown’s appointment.
We, the Board of Directors of Holy Trinity Catholic Multi-Academy Company would particularly like to offer our thanks to Mrs McKie for her professional leadership of the school in this interim period.
Thank you for your support and I am sure you will join us in welcoming Mr Brown into our multi-academy family.
Mr Ken Wilson,
Chair of Board,
Holy Trinity Catholic Multi Academy Company.
