Blessed William Howard A Level Results Success
Blessed William Howard Catholic High School students have been successful in gaining grades in their A-level subjects, with a 99% pass rate. The extended project and the BTEC examinations undertaken by students saw a 100% pass rate, with the latter producing starred distinctions in most cases. 73% of students gained at least 3 A-levels (or equivalents). 62% of the cohort undertook the extended project, with two thirds gaining A*-B.
Mr Phil Smith, Headteacher, said, “The real measure of success is whether the students gain access to the course they wish to study at their preferred institution. I am pleased to say that every student wishing to progress to the next tier of education has been successful in gaining a place on a course of their choice. This is the real success for our students; the realisation of their ambition for future successful study. We wish them well as they undertake this next phase of their educational journey. Well done to the students, their parents and the staff who have done so much to support them.”
